Forces What are forces and why are they important? Forces influence movement of object. Fundementally, there are two types of force, push and pull.  Push forces are forces that move objects away. Examples of this can be when you are kicking a soccer ball. You are appling a force of push to move it away from you. Pull forces are forces that brings things closer. Examples of this is when you are pulling a chair, you are appling a force to move it closer to you.  These forces can also be seperated into contact and non-contact. These forces are crucial in the world. Without them, we won't be able to operate properly as our lifes/society has been shaped around these forces. Types of forces: There are multiple types of forces. Examples of them are: Frictional Force Gravitational Force Tension Force Electrical Force Normal Force Magnetic Force Air Resistance Force   Applied Force   Spring Force

Non-renewable Resources

Non-Renewable Resources What are non-renewable resources? Non-Renewable Resources are resources that cannot replenish within a human life span.  Impact of Non-renewable Resource: Non-renewable resources can have many negative impacts on the environment. Since non-resources replenishes over a long period of time, over-consumation is not wise.  Examples and Impacts: Coal: - Destroys habitats by digging.            - Cause pollution when burnt (C02 gets realeased into the environment) Nuclear Powerplants: - destroys habitats when mining for uranium                                     - If explodes, radiation effects will cause plants and animals around it to decays

Renewable Energy Sources

Solar Power Renewable Resources Due to effect of greenhouse gas emissons (*greenhouse gas emissons are the gases which trap heat in the ozone layer), the world is rapidly heating at about 0.07 Celcius since 1880 and an average rate of 0.018 Celcius from 1981. This process of the world heating up is called Climate Change. Climate Change is having massive impacts on animal lifestyle. A way to tackle this problem is using renewable resources. Renewable Resources are resources that can regenate in human life span. It released no carbon emissions. However, it can have unfriendly affects. Wind/hydro power can often change migrating paths and wind/water speeds. However, it reduces global warming effects which weights out the disadvantages.
